House System

To develop the qualities of leadership, self-reliance, and teamwork among students, they are grouped under four houses.The selection/appointment of House Captains/Prefects is based on unbiased and transparent voting. Points are assigned for all house activities to students throughout the year, and based on these points, the best house is declared at the end of the academic session. Regular house meetings are scheduled for students of class II onwards. The houses and their respective colours are:-

Infirmary

The school has a tie-up with Cygnus MLS Hospital and has an infirmary set up at school that is looked after by a qualified doctor on all working days. Medical check-up of students is carried out from time to time, and a record is maintained. Immediate first aid facility is always available in the school. Parents are informed if the doctor/nurse is of the opinion that a child needs special medical attention, and the necessary action is accordingly taken. An ambulance is available at the school for carrying sick children to the hospital.

School Library

We have set up an expansive library at our institution to enable our young scholars to satiate their thirst for knowledge. The school library is open to all students of the school. All the classes are provided with at least one library period per week. Students are advised to take note of the following while using the library:

Strict silence must be maintained in the library.
Books lost/damaged/disfigured will have to be paid for or replaced by the borrower.
Any child found damaging or defacing a book from the school library would be debarred from using the library.
No student may take books out of the library without the permission of the librarian.
A fine of INR 1 per day per book will be charged as a late fine for the overdue book.
